Services for Earnest Lee Powell, of Jackson, are 2 p.m. Tuesday,July 11, 2006, at New Vision Fellowship Center with burial in OldMacedonia Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Powell, 56, died July 4, 2006 at his home in Jackson. He wasborn on March 21, 1950, to Alberta Powell Patterson.

He was a construction worker.

Preceding him in death was his brother, Ray Powell, and hisgrandparents, Dennis and Louise Powell.

Survivors are his mother, of Brookhaven; his sisters, PauletteByrd and Addie Maxwell, both of Brookhaven; his aunts, Jessie MaeScott, Mary Lyons, Inez Kelly, all of Brookhaven, Dora Montgomery,of Chicago, and Marie Hilson, of Cham; his uncles, Hollis Powell,Marco Culver and Israel Culver, all of Brookhaven; and many nieces,nephews, cousins and other relatives.
