Services for L. J. “Dunk” Reid of Monticello are 1 p.m.,Tuesday, April 17, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inDivide Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery in Jayess.

Visitation is today until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Reid, 90, died April 15, 2001, at Lawrence County NursingCenter. He was born in Monticello on Oct. 3, 1910, to Willie andBelle Calhoun Reid.

He was a retired re-forester with Gaylord Company. He was amember of Divide Methodist Protestant Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ethel MaeReid; his son, Ladon Reid; and his brothers, Roy and Ray Reid.

Survivors are his daughter, Olene Peavey of Jayess; and sevengrandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
