On a cold, wet Thursday morning, the team of Jerry Harper, Philip Autman, John Darrington, Yogi Yarborough and Glen Martin fired an amazing 15-under par 55 to win the Senior Scramble at the Brookhaven Country Club. The quintet recorded three eagles on holes No. 7, No. 9 and No. 16.

Ten strokes back in second place was the team of Curtis Barnes, Dick Arnold, Ronnie Grenn, Gene Neismith and Dorman Howell.

The scramble is open to the public and starts each Thursday at 9 a.m. Entry deadline is 8:30.
