Services for Lera V. Barnett of Hattiesburg are 2 p.m. Sunday,Jan. 5, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in ProvidenceBaptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 5, from 8 a.m. until service time atthe funeral home.

Mrs. Barnett, 82, died Jan. 2, 2003, at Forrest GeneralHospital. She was born in Lawrence County on Feb. 4, 1920, to thelate Horace and Minnie Lou Bullock Lambert.

She was a retired beautician of 26 years. She was a member ofEmanuel Baptist Church in Hattiesburg. She moved to Pascagoula fromMonticello and lived there for 45 years. She lived in Norfolk, Va.,for three years before moving to Hattiesburg in 1996.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James KimbolBarnett; daughter, Sherrie Bell; and a sister, Frances Miller.

Survivors are her daughters, Bobbie Larson and Sue Gallaspy,both of Hattiesburg; sister, Eunice Rutland of Jayess; and fivegrandchildren.
