Memorial services for Daniel “Squeak” Lee David Gill, of Bogue Chitto, are 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb. The Rev. Evan Akins will officiate.
Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Gill, 26, passed away Jan. 13, 2013, due to injury sustained from an automobile accident in Summit. He was born in Baton Rouge, La. on July 9, 1986, to Pam Martin Hodges.
He was an ironworker and traveled all over the country doing what he loved. He also loved playing “Halo”, hunting, shooting pool and spending time on the river with his friends. Mr. Gill especially enjoyed taking his nieces shopping at the mall and spoiling “his girls.” He was a prankster and enjoyed getting people to laugh.
Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Louis J. Martin.
Survivors are his mother, Pam Hodges, of Brookhaven; grandmother, Georgia Martin Jones; brother, John Seall, of McComb; sisters, Melissa Green, of Brookhaven, and Danielle Kayleen Brown and husband, Patrick, of Georgia; nieces, Victoria, Sarah and Cynthia Green, and Valerie Brown; nephews, Devin and Brendon Brown, Karey Bennett and Cade Seall; aunts, Patricia M. Wilson and husband, David, of Summit, and Sherry Lynn Allen and husband, Benton, of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; a special second mama, Jan Seall, of Summit; and numerous other relatives and friends.
