Services for Ida Crawford Brewer, of Hammond, La., will be heldat 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Brookhaven Funeral Home onNorth Jackson Street with burial in New Sight Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of theservice at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brewer, 80, died Dec. 9, 2007, at Belle Maison Nursing Homein Hammond. She was born in Manifest, La., on Feb. 4, 1927, toHerbert H. Crawford and Lela Wilson Crawford.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church ofIndependence, La.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ShelbyBrewer; and her infant brother, Henry Crawford.

Survivors are her sons, Jim Brewer and wife, Corinne, of MountIda, Ark., and Bill Brewer and wife, Ginger, of Ponchatoula, La.;her daughter, Deloris B. Roussel and husband, Barry, ofPonchatoula; her eight grandchildren and 14great-grandchildren.
