Bobcats top Dexter

DEXTER – Bogue Chitto senior running back Donyea Dillon put on ashow Friday night as the Bobcats rallied to beat the DexterBulldogs 36-22 in Region 4-1A action. Dillon rushed 20 times for176 yards and scored 3 touchdowns for the undefeated Bobcats (3-0).Dexter fell to 2-1.
“We found a way to get it done at the end,” said Bogue Chittohead coach Gareth Sartin. “It was a tough, physical game. Weweren’t ready to play when it came time. We found a way to win thegame.”
Also rushing for over 100 yards for Bogue Chitto was juniorquarterback Seth Avants with 24 carries for 143 yards and a TD. Inthe air, Avants completed 3 of 6 passes for 80 yards. BrianRobinson caught the passes.
Dexter quarterback Mario Miller finished the game with 6 rushesfor 43 yards and a touchdown. Miller also completed 2 of 11 passesfor 109 yards and a touchdown.
In the first quarter, the Bulldogs scored at the 9:30 mark on a10-yard run by Miller for a 6-0 lead .
