Services for Norma Moak Hart Morgan, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMontgomery Baptist Church Cemetery in Summit. The Rev. Mike McKeewill officiate.
Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morgan, 71, died Nov. 4, 2006, at the Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson after a brief illness. She was born inBogue Chitto on Feb. 20, 1935, to Ted Moak Sr. and Erma CanoyMoak.
She was an employee of Bell South, starting in Baton Rouge, La.,in 1955 and worked in Brookhaven, McComb and Jackson, beforeretiring in 1989 as assistant manager of operating services. Shewas also employed at Packard Electric in security and personnelfrom 1989 until 2004. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant BaptistChurch in Bogue Chitto.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,Russell Lenoir Hart Sr.; her sister, Peggy Seago; and hergranddaughter, Hannah Marie Hart.
Survivors are her husband, Shelton Morgan, of Brookhaven; hersons, Russell L. Hart Jr. and wife Amy, and Len Hart and wifeCindy, all of Bogue Chitto; her daughter, Missy Wallace and husbandAlan, of Bogue Chitto; her stepchildren, Allen and Becky Morgan, ofBrookhaven, Larry and Sylvia Morgan, of Hattiesburg, and Ginger andJim Bullock, of St. Croix; her brothers, Ted Moak Jr. and wifeJimmie, of Bogue Chitto, Roger Moak and wife Geraldine, of Summit;her sisters, JoAnn Thames and husband Gene, of Brookhaven, andJoyce Allred and husband Danny Ray, of Bogue Chitto; her sixgrandchildren, Austin and Nikki Hart, Ali and Eli Wallace, Marleyand Michael Hart, all of Bogue Chitto; and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Randy Seago, Mike Seago, Keith Seago, BruceSeago, Mike Hart and Jody Moak.
