Paul Day Allred Jr.
Services for Paul Day Allred Jr. of Foley, Ala., are 11 a.m.,Thursday, Aug. 26, at Bill M. King-Colonial Chapel in Collins withburial in Collins City Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 9:30-11a.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Allred, 18, died Aug. 22, 2004, at Louisiana StateUniversity Medical Center. He was born on Oct. 3, 1985, to Paul DayAllred Sr. and Jimmie Lou Reeves Allred of Foley.
He graduated from Faith Presbyterian School as Valedictorian ofhis class, and was currently a student at the University of SouthAlabama. He was a member of R.O.T.C. He was an active member ofGrace Fellowship Presbyterian Church in Gulf Shores, Ala., where hewas involved in youth and mission work. He had recently returnedfrom a mission trip.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Dr.Wallace Allred and Mrs. Jessie Allred.
Survivors are his parents; his sister, Mary Rebecca “Beca”Allred of Hattiesburg; his maternal grandparents, Jim and MaryReeves of Summit; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins andfriends.
Jeannetta Ruth Mitchell
Services for Jeannetta Ruth Mitchell of Prairieville, La., are11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 26, at Community Funeral Services withburial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday from 9-11a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mitchell, 56, died Aug. 23, 2004, in Prairieville. She wasa native of Brookhaven. She was born to Robert Fulton and GerolineCase Fulton of Maurepas, La.
She was a homemaker. She was a 1967 graduate of East AscensionHigh School.
Preceding her in death were her father and her grandparents.
Survivors are her mother; her daughters, Amy Cosenza and AnnieOlinde of Prairieville; her son, Michael Cosenza and his wife,Stacy, of Alexandria, La.; her sister Lorinda Alford and herhusband, David, of Maurepas; her brother, Stacy Fulton and hiswife, Becky, of Union Church; two grandchildren, Trevor Fontenotand Lexie Cosenza; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and greatnephews.
