Services for Hollis V. White of Jackson were 11 a.m., Tuesday,July 31, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood SouthCemetery.

Mr. White, 82, died July 29, 2001, at his residence. He was bornin Kentwood, La., and had lived in Hinds County most of hislife.

He was a retired security officer with the State of Mississippi.He was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church. He was a member ofMasonic Lodge No. 613. He was an Army veteran of WWII.

Survivors are his sons, Dale E. White of New Orleans and ThomasL. White of Terry; his daughter, Debra K. Martin of GlenwoodSpring, Colo.; his brother, J. C. White Jr. of Brookhaven; hissisters, Voncelle Prather of Pearl and Dorothy Nell Harrington ofRuth; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
