Memorial services for Marvin Spain, of Jackson, are 11 a.m.Saturday, April 30 at Willie Mae Tyler Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Spain, 51, died April 1, 2005, in Clinton. He was born inFranklin County on Nov. 27, 1953, to Lucy Mae Cameron and JuliusWardley.
He was a cook for the Salvation Army in Jackson. Mr. Spaingraduated high school in New Orleans and went on to graduate fromMeridian Community College with an Associates of Arts Degree inHotel and Restaurant Management. He served in the Air Force, Armyand Navy.
Preceding him in death were his mother; his brothers, George andRandolph Robinson; and two sisters, Bertha and DorothyRobinson.
Survivors are his father; his wife, Sharon Coleman Spain, ofBude; his daughters, DeKeithea Latham, of Slidell, La., EstherAnderson, of McComb, Majilio Himiya, of Jackson, Robin Dixon andClara Coleman, both of Bude; his sons, Sule’ Spain, of Gulfport,Marcus Spain, of McComb, and Vincient Phillip Coleman and RandomColeman, both of Bude; his sister, Shelia Robinson, of Bude; hisbrothers, Melvin Robinson, Robert E. Robinson, Edward Robinson,Donald Robinson, all of Bude; and two grandchildren.
