Funeral services for Vera Maude Pennington Lambert, ofBrookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, at Brookhaven FuneralHome Chapel on North Jackson Street, with burial in EasthavenCemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. and will resume Fridayat 8 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m., all at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Lambert, 84, died April 13, 2011, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lawrence County on Oct. 6, 1926, to Roy L.Pennington and Jessie Maude James Saulters.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Easthaven BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, HarveyLambert.

Survivors are her two sons, Larue Lambert and wife, Wanda, of GrandBay, Ala., and Travis Lambert and wife, Beth, of Hartselle, Ala.;three grandchildren, Ben Lambert, Jill Lambert Waters and HeatherLambert; one great-grandchild, Blake Seal; two brothers, JamesSaulters and wife, Boots, and Johnny Pennington, all of Texas; onesister, Ella Mae Roberts, of Brookhaven.
