Services for Irene Leathers Tullis of Jayess were 11 a.m.,today, Sept. 10, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello withburial in Tilton Cemetery in Monticello.

Visitation was Thursday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tullis, 71, died Sept. 8, 2004, at Southwest Medical Centerin McComb. She was born in Bogue Chitto on Nov. 5, 1932, to AsaEdgar Leathers and Rosie Lee Reynolds Leathers.

She was a sales clerk. She was a member of Monticello Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; two sons,John Jones Tullis and Hank William Tullis; and one brother, AsaEdgar Leathers Jr.

Survivors are her sister, Eddie Maxine Brister of McComb; herbrother, Nathan Leathers of Jayess; five grandchildren; and fivegreat grandchildren.
