Memorial services for Cynthia Ann BowmanVaughn Doerr, of Brookhaven, are 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, atRiverwood Family Funeral Service.

    Visitation is Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Doerr, 58, died Oct. 25, 2011, at Ochsner Medical Center inSlidell, La. She was born in Mississippi on Sept. 25, 1953.

    She was a legal secretary and of the Baptist faith.

    Preceding her in death were her father, Robert Luther Bowman; andstepfather, Larry D. Smith.

    Survivors are her mother, Elsie Marie Jordan Smith; daughters,Paige Vaughan Chisolm and husband, Doug, of Brookhaven, and SarahVaughan Newman and husband, Rusty, of Brookhaven; brother, ClintSmith; sisters, Amy Smith Rhoads and husband, Kevin, Linda Valle’and husband, Ric, Ouida Dawkins and husband, Cecil, and BonnieWhitty and husband, Mike; five grandchildren; and a host of niecesand nephews.
