NATCHEZ – Franklin County lost an 8-1 decision to Natchez AceAdams in the Dixie Youth Baseball Major League West Subdistrict SixTournament at Duncan Park. The loss eliminated Franklin County fromthe double-elimination tournament.

Adam Bollar was the winning pitcher for Natchez. He struck out 3batters and walked 3.

Najee Jones was charged with the loss. Jones struck out 4batters and walked 2.

“We could have played better,” said Franklin County coach TerryHammack. “But I’m proud of the way our boys played. We had a greatseason.”

Franklin County was led by Cody Jones who hit a 2-run homer anda single. Carlton Rollins tripled and drove in 3 runs. Also hittingsafely for Franklin County were Justin Armstrong, Nathan Oliver,Matthew Smith and Justin Steel.

Natchez was led by Adam Keyes and Bollar who singled twice.
