Jeff Thomas Twiner Sr.

Services for Jeff Thomas Twiner Sr., of Brookhaven, are 11:30a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Jackson.

Visitation is Monday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Twiner, 91, died Aug. 15, 2008, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born on Sept. 27, 1916, to O.W. Twiner and LillianCupit Twiner.

He was a retired locomotive engineer with the railroad. Heserved in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Crestwood BaptistChurch in Jackson.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Stella MackeyTwiner; his three brothers and his two sisters.

Survivors are a son, Thomas Twiner Jr., of Brookhaven; and asister, Stella Moore, of Brookhaven.
