Services for Robert Charles Bracey of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m.,Saturday, June 9, at New Zion Union M. B. Church with burial in NewZion/Norfield Cemetery.
Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bracey, 41, died June 3, 2001, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on Oct. 22, 1959, to Henry Allen Bracey andAlline Eddington Bracey. He was a 1976 graduate of Bogue ChittoHigh School and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
He was a diesel mechanic with Chevron Offshore Drilling Company.He was self-employed as owner of Chuckie Music and Rob’s Music. Hewas a member of New Zion Union M. B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his mother; and his brothers, HenryBracey Jr. and James Earl Bracey.
Survivors are his father, Henry Allen Bracey of Bogue Chitto;his sons, Robert Charles Bracey Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., andZachary A. Bryant of Brookhaven; his brothers, Harry Lee Bracey,Larry Joe Bracey, and Alfred Curtis Bracey, all of Bogue Chitto;his sisters, Edith Marie Allen of New York, N.Y., Shirley AnnThompson of Jackson, Bettie Jean Sidney and Ivory Mae Bracey, bothof Bogue Chitto, and Cora L. Edwards of Brookhaven; and hisstepdaughters, Gemille Adams and Anelda Adams, both ofJacksonville, Fla.
