Brookhaven’s top law enforcement officer, Police Chief FredMcKee, is still in a Jackson hospital but continues to showimprovement after suffering a brain aneurysm on March 3.

A patient at Mississippi Methodist Rehabilitation Center, ChiefMcKee has been walking up and down the hall with help, eating,talking and watching television, according to a family member.
