Kendra Ann Hinson, of Natchez, and Richard Cody Warren, ofBrookhaven, were united in marriage on March 13, 2010, at 2 p.m. atParkway Baptist Church in Natchez.
The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and Jeannie Dickey, and Billand Barbara Hinson, all of Natchez.
The groom is the son of Donald and Judy Warren, ofBrookhaven.
The Revs. Buddy Knott and Kent Cochran officiated theceremony.
Music was provided by Marvin Curtis, pianist; and Victor Newell,organist. Vocalists were Christopher Brown, Jessica Curtis andDenise Leggett.
The church was decorated with columns and greenery.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a pearlsatin-backed taffeta dress by Allure. The strapless bodice featuredflattering criss-cross ruching. The neckline was accented withcrystals. She wore her grandmother’s veil of Alencon lace. Herbouquet consisted of white roses and orange and pink Gerberdaisies.
Serving as maid of honor was sister of the bride, BrittonHinson, of Natchez. The matron of honor was sister of the bride,Megan Hinson, of Natchez. Bridesmaids were sister-in-law of thegroom, Emily Warren, of Wesson; Dominique LeGree, of Virginia; AnaKuykendall, of Clinton; and sister of the bride, Sarah Hinson, ofNatchez.
Flower girl was Presleigh Moffett, niece of the bride, ofNatchez.
The attendants wore orange silk shantung knee-length dresses.They carried bouquets of roses and Gerber daisies.
Best man was Donald Warren, father of the groom. Groomsmen werebrothers of the groom, Tate Warren of Brookhaven, and Todd Warrenof Wesson; brother of the bride, Taylor Hinson of Natchez; BrooksSmith of Brookhaven, and Tyler Foreman, of Summit.
Ring bearer was nephew of the bride, Brayden Moffett, ofNatchez.
Ushers were Jameson Wright of Brookhaven, Kyle Smith ofBrookhaven, Brooks Wall of Monticello, and Josh Howell of NewOrleans, La.
Presiding at the bridal registry were Leigh Freeman of Natchez,Maggie Hinson of Baton Rouge, La., and Carly Foreman, ofSummit.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the churchfellowship hall. The guests were entertained by violinist DavidTraltman. The center of the table was adorned with a large fruitand vegetable tray. A vast array of finger foods were served. Thepunch was served from a silver punch bowl that was given in honorof the her late great-grandfather. The tables were covered withwhite tablecloths and scattered with rose petals.
The couple left in a horse-drawn carriage.
Hostesses were aunts of the bride Susan Cummins, Ann Carlton,Lynn Hinson, Becky Hinson, and Julie Hinson; and stepsister of thebride, Paige Dickey.
Rice bag and birdseed attendants were Coleman Carter and MoriahHinson.
On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at thechurch. It was catered by Ken Dixon.
After a wedding trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, the couple has madetheir home in Wesson.
