Services for Albert L. Clark III of Dog Island, Fla., were heldSaturday, June 24, at Beggs Funeral Home in Tallahassee.

Mr. Clark, 62, died June 21, 2000, of an allergic reaction to abee sting at a neighbor’s residence. He was a native of Jackson andhad lived in Ft. Walton, Fla. He had been a resident of Dog Islandfor 12 years. He was a graduate of Mississippi StateUniversity.

He had previously worked in real estate. He was a member of DogIsland Yacht Club. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are his wife, Pat Clark; his son, Albert Leonard ClarkIV of Brookhaven; his daughters, Dr. Jackie Burt of Bristol, Tenn.,Jennifer Luna of Germantown, Tenn., and Rivers Burda of Navarre,Fla.; his stepsons, Steve Jines of Crestview, Fla., Mark Jines ofKaneohe, Hawaii, and Chris Jines of Gulf Shores, Ala.; hisstepdaughter, Cindy Jines of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; his mother,Margaret Clark Wadlington of Germantown; his brother, Bart Clark ofJackson; and 13 grandchildren.

Services for Sarah Alice Glasper of Wesson are 11 a.m., Monday,July 3, at St. Peter Rock M. B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

2Visitation is Sunday, July 2, from 1-5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary with family hour from 7-8 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Glasper, 71, died June 25, 2000, at Baptist Medical Centerin Jackson. She was born in Copiah County on April 3, 1929, toBowie Leavy and Lillie Bell Leavy.

She was retired. She was a member of St. Peter Rock M. B.Church, where she served on the usher board.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, IvyGlasper; her son, Curtis Glasper; and her brother, WilsonLeavy.

Survivors are her sons, Albert Ray Glasper, Howard Leavy, andWillie Fred Corley, all of Wesson, and Paul Glasper of Oakland,Calif.; her daughter, Franziene Smith of Wesson; and 15grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services for Amanda Hutto of New Orleans are 10 a.m., Monday,July 3, at Phalti Baptist Church with burial in PhaltiCemetery.

Mrs. Hutto, 88, died June 29, 2000, of heart failure at LutheranHome.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Henry Irvin Hutto.

Graveside services for Maxie Mae Jordan of Brookhaven were 10a.m., Friday, June 30, at Roberts Memorial Cemetery in Jayess.Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jordan, 86, died June 28, 2000, of heart failure atLawrence County Hospital. She was born in Lawrence County on Dec.29, 1913, to Mac Mason and Hopie Elizabeth Thames Hemphill.

She was a member of Topeka Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, WalterHenry Jordan.

Survivors are her sons, Barney Lewis Jordan of Monticello, EarlEugene Jordan of Mt. Prospect, Ill., Mac “Tom” Jordan of Gilbert,La., and Kenny Jordan of Brookhaven; her daughter, Janice Jordan ofClinton; her sister, Charlene Haggard of Ventress, La.; and 12grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and twogreat-great-grandchildren.
