Services for Albert C. Lofton of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Tuesday,May 1, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in FriendshipBaptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Lofton, 76, died April 30, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on May 19, 1924, to Sam KingLofton and Myrtis Nettles Lofton.

He was retired from Keystone and was currently working at LakeLincoln State Park. He was a member of Friendship BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother.

Survivors are his wife, Irene Lofton of Brookhaven; his son, RoyLofton of Brookhaven; his sisters, Thelma Smith of Natchez andNellie Rae Burns of McCall Creek; and four grandchildren and twogreat-grandchildren.
