W. Whitlock Griffin Sr., of Roxie, died Saturday, July 23.Burial will be at Hamburg Cemetery in Hamburg, Miss.

Mr. Griffin died from injuries sustained in a vehicular accidentthree miles north on Highway 33 at Highway 84 in Roxie. He died onhis 28th wedding anniversary.

Mr. Griffin, 52, was born in Franklin County on Jan. 22, 1953,to Claude Alton Griffin and Christine Marie Mount Griffin.

He was a truck driver for Hornday Transportation.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Elizabeth J.D. Griffin; hisson, Willie W. Griffin Jr.; his daughter Sara O. Griffin; his foursisters, Diane Smith, Jan Smith, Tonie Murray and Dink Smith; andone brother, Claude Griffin Jr.
