Services for George Frelix, of Sontag, are 3 p.m. Friday, July29 at Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from noon until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.
Mr. Frelix, 98, died July 25, 2005, at G.V. “Sonny” MontgomeryVeterans Affairs Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on June 15,1907, to Lucious Frelix and Eliza Frelix.
He was retired. He served in the Army and was a veteran of WorldWar II. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, FannieFrelix; a daughter, Pastel DeQuair; three brothers; and foursisters.
Survivors are his daughters, Mary Taplett, of Chicago,Charlesetta Blanchard and her husband, Javous Blanchard Jr., ofJackson, and Sharon Lee, of Sontag; her son, Butch Crump and hiswife, Marion, of New Orleans; 11 grandchildren; 23great-grandchilden; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
