Funeral services for Bonnie Marie Looney Whittington, ofSmithdale, were 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, at Franklin FuneralHome in Meadville with burial in Bude Church of God Cemetery.

Ms. Whittington, 74, died June 12, 2011, at her residence. She wasborn on Dec. 7, 1936, to James Looney and Edrie Foust Looney.

She was retired from American General Insurance in Tennessee. Shewas a member of the Church of God in Nashville, Tenn.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, VirginiaArrington; and her brother, James David Looney.

Survivors are her son, Dale Whittington and Regina, of Smithdale;her daughter, Lynn Halford and Steve, of Smithdale; her sister,Lucille Seymour Ferrell, of Milan, Tenn.; her grandchildren, JoshWhittington, Jana Wallace and Cody, Reeana Halford and RantzyHalford; and her great-grandchild, Charlyana Wallace.

Pallbearers are Brian Hatfield, Eddie Goodwin, Clinton Bishop, JoshWhittington, Roger Halford and Jeff Pratt.

Honorary pallbearers are Steve Halford, Cody Wallace, SimonEmfinger and Walter Norman.
