Mrs. Coleman, 67, died April 22, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center of cancer. She was born in Louisiana on Dec. 13,1933, to Cicero Franklin and Christine Franklin.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Tullos First BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Charles E. Coleman Sr. of Winnie,Texas; her sons, Eddie Coleman of Brookhaven and Gary Coleman ofWinnie; her daughters, Lisa Coleman LeMaire of Abbeville, and LindaFranklin Nichols and Teresa Coleman Comeaux, both of Tucson, Ariz.;her brother, E. R. Franklin of Clarks, La.; her sisters, MarseColeman of Tullos, La., Ruth Doffitt and Carolyn Aycock, both ofOlla, La., Sue Franklin Simons of Shreveport, Shirley Harris ofMonterey, La., and Dorty McCartney of Uraina, La.; and 10grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
