NATCHEZ – The Enterprise Lady Yellow Jackets exploded for 13hits and defeated Cathedral’s girls 8-4 Monday in a Division 7-1Ashowdown.

Directing the victory was Lacey Palomarez who tripled andsingled.

Coach Steve Sasser’s Lady Jackets got a double from Ashley Tateand 2 singles from Ashley Palomarez, Nicole Beard and Vivian Langas they overcame a 3-2 Cathedral lead with a 5-run fourth. MeganCriswell, Nicole Floyd, Breann Laird and Nikkie Leggettsingled.

Leggett (4-0) was the winning pitcher as Enterprise cleared itsfirst division test of the season. Cathedral had 10 hits.

Enterprise hosts Dexter Thursday, starting at 5 p.m., with ajunior varsity game. The varsity plays at 6.
