WESSON -Brookhaven Academy seniors Kolby Byrd and Nicole Smithwere honored with the Cougar Leadership Award Monday night at theschool’s annual athletic banquet that was held at the Co-LinCommunity College Thames Center.

Most Valuable Players honors went to Byrd in football andbaseball, Shelby Farmer in fastpitch softball, Shae Smith andNathanael Sbravati in boys soccer, Hannah Hickman in girls soccer,Terah Winborne and Anna Katelyn Mangold in girls basketball, BlaineRoberts in boys basketball, Laura Beth Wright in girls slowpitchsoftball and Jennings Mills in golf.
