William ‘Clark’ Nations

Funeral services for William “Clark”Nations, 61, of Clayton, La., will be held at Sunnyside Church onThursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Sharp Jr.officiating. A Masonic graveside service will follow at RogerCemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home inFerriday.
Clark Nations was born on Jan. 27, 1950, in Brookhaven to WarrenEmmett Nations and Iva Lee Nations and passed away Monday, Sept.12, 2011, at his residence in Clayton where he was surrounded byhis family and friends. Clark and Linda Faye Fletcher were marriedMay 28, 1966. He worked as a welder in his own company NationsWelding for more than 10 years then he went on to work as amillwright out of local 1421 out of Arlington, Texas, untilpresent. He was a member and past officer of the Masonic Lodge 390of Ferriday, La. He was a past Worthy Patron of the Order ofEastern Star Delta Chapter 159.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles RayNations and Mark Nations; and one granddaughter, Asia NicoleNations.
Survivors include his loving wife for 45 years, Linda Faye Nations,of Clayton; one daughter, Patricia “Pattie” Lea Nations, ofVidalia, La.; two sons, Warren Charles Nations and wife, Jennifer,of Cookville, Tenn., and William “Clay” Nations and wife, Jennifer”Jenny,” of Monterey; extended family, Pauline Bolyer and husband,Jessie, of Vidalia; two brothers, Joe Nations and wife, Penny, ofFerriday, La., and Sam Nations and wife, Jean, of Rusk, Texas; 12grandchildren, Amber DeLaune, Jessie Evans and husband, Carmen,Trypp DeLaune, Craig Nations, Colton Nations, Devin Bolyer, PaigeBolyer, Taylor Nations, Sara Beard, Mallory Nations, Clay NationsJr. and Payton Nations; five great-grandchildren; and numerousnieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Marty Hammett, Greg Duncan, Jessie Bolyer, CraigNations, Daryl Walker and Wesley Duncan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ike Barnes, Jr. Tarver, Raymond Eames,Ryan Nations and Scottie Steele.
