Funeral services for Lee Warren, of the Caseyville community,are 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 6, at Philadelphia Baptist Church inCaseyville, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Sunday from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. at the funeral homeand Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at thechurch.
Mr. Warren, 79, was born on Sept. 8, 1930, and went home to be withthe Lord on Sept. 4, 2010.
After graduating from Loyd Star High School, he enlisted in theUnited States Navy. He worked in the oil field and was also alifetime dairy and cattle farmer. He served on the communitycommittee to ASCS, and was later elected to county committee FSA.He served as a Lincoln County election commissioner for 28 years.He was a deacon and member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was adevoted son, husband, dad, grandfather, andgreat-grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Fred and Mary C. Warren;and his brothers, J.O. Warren, Bob Warren and Fred Warren Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Christine Smith Warren; hisson, Mike Warren and wife, Marsha; his daughters, Susan Nettles andhusband, Jeff, and Tina Woolley and husband, Randy; hisgrandchildren, Michael Warren and wife, Mandy, Casey Warren andwife, Mindy, Brandon Warren and wife, Whitney, Justin Warren andwife, Shannon, Clay Woolley and wife, Maggie, Kyle Woolley andwife, Tiffany, and Wanda Smith; his great-grandchildren, Mikayla,Peyton, Dylan, and Macy Warren, Layton and Macel Woolley, andMallory and Chloey Smith; his sisters, Lucille Shelton, ofPattison, and Nell Brister, of Tifton, Ga.; his sister-in-law,Daisy Warren, of Caseyville; his brothers and sisters-in-law,Everette and Faye Keeton, of Tennessee, and Joe and Marilyn Smithand Rayford and Nell Smith, all of Fayette; many loving nieces andnephews; and so many wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made toHospice Compassus of McComb.
