Funeral services for Dennis Albert Bardwell, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

     Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Bardwell, 72, died Jan. 8, 2013, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Mississippi on Aug. 16, 1940, to Albert R. Bardwell and Maudine Bardwell Roberts.

     He was a truck driver for Wal-Mart Distribution and of the Baptist faith.

     Preceding him in death were his wife, Peggy Bardwell; and parents, Pete and Maudine Bardwell.

     Survivors are his sons, Bubba Bardwell and Darvin Bardwell; special son-in-law, Tommy Childress; daughter, Denise Childress and husband, Tommy; seven grandchildren, Jason Childress, April Carson, Angel Allred, Ashlea Bardwell, Aaron Bardwell, Eric Bardwell and Angie Bardwell; seven great-grandchildren, Grayson Childress, Blake Russ, Morgan Childress, Kayleigh Carson, Miranda Carson, Trace Allred and Cole Harris; and family member, Jennifer Furlow.
