David Wayne Branning
Services for David Wayne Branning, of Leland, are 2 p.m.Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NatchezDrive with burial in Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Branning, 42, died Jan. 11, 2009, at Delta Regional MedicalCenter in Greenville. He was born in Leland on Aug. 24, 1966, toW.H. Branning and Doris Hardy Branning Laird.
He was disabled. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church ofChrist.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Survivors are his mother, Doris Laird, of Greenville; a son,Dewayne Branning, of Brookhaven; his brothers, Dennis Branning, ofBrookhaven, Roger Branning, of Pensacola, Fla., and WilliamBranning, of Harrison, Ark.; his sisters, Debbie Branning, VickyTurnage, both of Leland, and Lynda Naron, of Wetumpka, Ala.
Lydia D. Martin
Services for Lydia D. Martin, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Tuesday,Jan. 13, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on Natchez Drive withburial in Little Bahala Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. Martin, 87, died Jan. 11, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Claiborne County on Feb. 13,1921, to Edgar Dungan and Nettie Moore Dungan.
She was a nurse. She was a member of Little Bahala BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Ralph”Stinky” Martin; and a brother, William Dungan Sr.
Survivors are a nephew, William P. Dungan Jr., of Wesson; and agreat nephew, Christopher Dungan, of Hattiesburg.
