Bonnie Mae Wallace Adams

Services for Bonnie Mae Wallace Adams, of the Montgomerycommunity of Lincoln County, are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 atCatchings Funeral Home in McComb with burial in MontgomeryCemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to10:30 p.m.

Mrs. Adams, 81, died Dec. 14, 2005, at St. Dominic/JacksonMemorial Hospital. She was born in Lincoln County on April 22,1924, to Marshall Wallace and Bessie Brown Wallace.

She was retired from Kellwood Co. She was an active member ofMontgomery Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Lee RoyAdams; one brother, Carl Wallace; and a sister, MagalenePettigrew.

Survivors are her son, Jerry Adams, of Clinton; her twodaughters, Bonnie Ann Moak and Sue Leggett, both of Bogue Chitto; abrother, Grover Wallace, of Bogue Chitto; two sisters, Emma JeanMoak, of Summit, and Nell Gatlin, of Bogue Chitto; sevengrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces,nephews and other family members and friends.

Memorials may be sent to Montgomery Baptist Church BuildingFund, 495 Montgomery Rd. S.W., Summit MS 39666.

Evelyn Quinn Morris

Services for Evelyn Quinn Morris, of Bogue Chitto, are 1:30 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 17 at Greenwood M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Professional Funeral Services of New Orleans is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Williams Mortuary andSaturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church. All flowers shouldgo to William Mortuary for visitation.

Mrs. Morris, 57, died Dec. 12, 2005, at Methodist Hospital inHouston, Texas. She was born on Dec. 27, 1947, to Roy Quinn andBessie Quinn.

She was a cashier at Wal-Mart Supercenter. She was a graduate ofAlexander High School and Alcorn State University. She was a memberof the senior choir at Greenwood M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death was her father, Roy Quinn.

Survivors are her mother Bessie Quinn; her son, Derrick Morris,of Pineville, N.C.; her daughters, Rhondrea Henry and ChabliaLewis, both of Houston, Texas; her brothers, Donald Quinn, ofHouston, and Jerrell Quinn, of Brookhaven; her sisters, GloriaCrockett, of Brookhaven, and Jeanette Spinks, of Houston; and onegrandchild.

L. Joy McLean Peavey

Services for L. Joy McLean Peavey, of Fayetteville, N.C., are 2p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home inFayetteville with burial in Lafayette Memorial Park inFayetteville. The Rev. Annelle Waldron will officiate services.

Visitation is Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Peavey, 69, died Dec. 15, 2005, at her residence.

She was a loving mother and wonderful wife.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John W. McLean andGladys Hart McLean; and her brother, Wayne McLean.

Survivors are her husband of 46 years, from Brookhaven, DanielPeavey; her two sons, Wilton E. Peavey and his wife, Ann, of HopeMills, and Mark W. Peavey and his wife, Tina, of Clayton, N.C.; hertwo grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, Ryan Harrell, andJason Peavey; her two brothers, John L. McLean and Jerry McLean;and three sisters, Jo-Ann Capps, Grace Merritt and Lila FayNicholson.
