Lawrence falls to Tigers 65-62

MONTICELLO – The Crystal Springs Tigers upset the LawrenceCounty Cougars 65-62 Friday night in Division 6-4A basketballaction.

Nick Mikell sparked Lawrence with 20 points. Steven Atterberryfired in 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Also grabbingeight rebounds was Tim Horton.

Crystal Springs got 17 points apiece from Edward Frazier andCorey Taylor.

The Lawrence boys are 10-2 on the season. The Cougars willparticipate in the Simpson County Boys Shootout in Mendenhallbeginning Friday, Dec. 22 and running through Saturday, Dec.23.
