Services for Larry T. “Pedda” Winters, of Bogue Chitto, are 11a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church inBrookhaven with burial in Lillie Mae Cemetery in Georgetown. R.E.Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. at the funeral home,with family present from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mr. Winters, 19, died Aug. 20, 2007, in Lincoln County. He wasborn on Oct. 21, 1987 to Larry D. Winters and Linda SmithWinters.

He was a graduate of Brookhaven High School and was a student atCopiah-Lincoln Community College. He was a member of Macedonia M.B.Church, where he served as an usher and choir member. He playedfootball at Brookhaven High School and Copiah-Lincoln CommunityCollege.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors are his father and stepmother, Larry D. and GailWinters, of Bogue Chitto; his brothers, Jason Winters, ofBrookhaven, and Craig Dean, of Georgetown; his sisters, DeidraSmith, of Jackson; his stepbrothers, Courtney Clark and ChrisClark, both of Brookhaven; and his stepsister, Crystal Clark, ofBrookhaven.
