“There’s a vacant place in our homes
Our eyes are filled with tears
Since from us has gone
Our mother, we loved so dear.
She was so precious to us
We cannot understand
But God she did trust
So He’s taken her to that beautiful land.
Mother, dear, we will always miss you,
A voice so tender and sweet
But some day up in heaven
We pray, that we all shall meet.”
