Services for Evelyn Johnson were held Thursday, Dec. 13, atCalvary M. B. Church in Magee.

Mrs. Johnson, 43, died Dec. 7, 2001, at University MedicalCenter in Jackson. She was born on May 12, 1958, to Cora Lee Loftonand Lonnie Lofton. She attended Brookhaven Public Schools andKentucky Job Corps. She was married to Daryl Johnson of Wesson.

Preceding her in death were her father, and her godson, KenoGreen.

Survivors are her mother, Cora Lee Lofton of Magee; her sisters,Katie Thompson of Bogue Chitto, and Etta Ree Tatum and Mary Hobbs,both of Magee; and her brothers, Robert Lofton of Killeen, Texas,Lonnie L. Lofton of Garland, Texas, James Lee Lofton of Memphis,and Earnest Ray Lofton of Magee.
