Services for John Henry Deere Jr., of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Monday, Jan. 19, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 5-9 p.m. and Monday from 8-11 a.m., atthe funeral home.

Mr. Deere, 55, died Jan. 16, 2004, in Brookhaven. He was born inPicayune on Jan. 17, 1948, to John Henry Deere Sr., and KatherineLenora Barnes Deere.

He was owner and operator of Airport Pik and Pak/Mini Storage ofOld Highway 51. He was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a stepson, LandonWiley.

Survivors are his wife, Shirley Deere of Brookhaven; hisdaughter, Sandra Ann Griffith of Tennessee; his sister andbrother-in-law, Yvonne and Elroy Warren of Caseyville; his brothersand sister-in-law, Kenneth and Marie Deere of Biloxi, and CoachRicky Deere of Brookhaven; a granddaughter; and several nieces andnephews.
