Troy W. Davis Jr.
Services for Troy W. Davis Jr., of Wesson, are 2 p.m. today atSpringhill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Community Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davis, 51, died Oct. 20, 2005, at his home. He was born onSept. 6, 1954, to Troy W. Davis Sr. and Genola Beeson Barlow.
He was a law enforcement officer for the VeteransAdministration. He was a member of Springhill Baptist Church andserved in the Army.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Survivors are his mother; his wife, Debbie Davis, of Wesson; hisdaughters, Becky Davis Miller and Amber Nicole, both of Wesson; hisbrother, Cliff Trippe, of Lena; his sisters, Faye Lusk, ofVicksburg, and Amber Nicole, of Wesson; his grandchildren, HaydenReese Miller and Madison Nicole Miller; and twogreat-grandchildren.
James W. Walker
Services for James W. Walker, of Paris, Texas, are 2:30 p.m.today, Oct. 23, at Rosehill Cemetery.
Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.
Mr. Walker, 78, died Oct. 20, 2005, at Paris Nursing Home. Hewas born on Jan. 1, 1927, to Martin Walker and Carrie Walker.
He was a retired engineer for the A.M.F. bakery division andserved as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division of the Armyin World War II. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Naosho Betts,and a sister, Jewel Walker.
Survivors are his daughters, Carrie Aydelott and her husband,Tracy, of Sumner, Bettie Patterson and her husband, Jim, of BrokenArrow, Okla., and Peggy Graham and her husband, Hal, of Tilton,N.H.; his brother, Robert Walker, of Mississippi; his sister,Ernestine Walker and her husband, Bookie, of Brookhaven; hisgrandchildren, Rhonda Diegel, Karla Diegel, Chris Cole and KellyGraham; and six great-grandchildren.
Willie Faye White
Services for Willie Faye White, of McComb, are 2 p.m. today,Oct. 23, at Hartman Funeral Home, in McComb. Burial is at HollywoodCemetery with the Rev. Ed Sudduth officiating.
Visitation is today from 1 p.m. until time of services at thefuneral home.
Mrs. White, 95, died Oct. 20, 2005, at her home. She was born inBrookhaven, to Will Hope and Ossie Rawls Hope.
She was a retired teacher, placement director and guidancecounselor for McComb School District. Mrs. White received her B.S.degree from Louisiana State University and her masters degree fromthe University of Southern Mississippi. She was a member of FirstBaptist Church of McComb. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma andKappa Delta Pi. She was a member of DAR and the Retired TeachersAssociation.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HowardWhite; and her brother, Rawls Hope.
Survivors are her nephews, John William Hope, of Panama City,Fla., and Lewis White, of Brandon; her nieces, Mary Massingale, ofTyler, Texas, Patsey Johnson, of Fort Worth, Texas, and LeonnaRuhmann, of New Ulm, Texas; cousin Betty Brister, of Summit; andher caregivers, Sarah Morris, Jerelyn Roberts, Mary Smith, MarshaMorris, Becky Blade and Marie Morris.
