Funeral services for Walter Scott Hartzog, of Natchez, will beheld at noon on Saturday, Feb. 12, at Riverwood Family FuneralService Chapel, with burial in the Masonic Cemetery in Monticello.There will be memorial service in Natchez at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeralhome.

Mr. Hartzog, 65, died Feb. 3, 2011, at Natchez Regional Hospital.He was born in Pascagoula on June 19, 1945, to Willie Hartzog andGenevieve Lee Hartzog.

He was a retired food and beverage director. He was a member of theBaptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and his brother, RichardBarry Hartzog.

Survivors are his daughter, Kimberly Hartzog of Winter Garden,Fla.; his sister, Johnnie Hartzog Lea and husband, Teunnison ofBrookhaven; his grandchild, Kaitlin Sophia Ramos of Winter Garden;his aunts, Louise Caughman, Elaine Boyd and Vernell Daniels ofMonticello; his uncle, Hiram Hartzog of Silver Creek; his nephews,Doug Lea and wife, Christie of Byram, Brad Lea and wife, Megan ofBiloxi; Greg Lea and wife, Christy of Meridian; and numerousgreat-nephews, great-nieces and cousins.
