Gee directs Bobcats over Salem Wildcats

SALEM – Javier Gee pumped in 21 points Tuesday night to lead theBogue Chitto Bobcats in a 68-60 Division 8-1A win over the SalemWildcats.
In the varsity girls game, Adrienne Hall and Darcy Miller firedin 14 points apiece to lead the ‘Cats to a 77-42 victory over theLady Wildcats.
Bogue Chitto hosts Dexter Friday night in more division actionin R.L. “Bob” Calhoun Gymnasium.
B. Chitto 68, Salem 60
“The kids played hard,” said Bogue Chitto first-year boys coachCurt Crain.
Contributing to the Bogue Chitto (10-12, 6-3) win with 15 pointswas Justin London. Brian Robinson finished with 13 points, 4 stealsand 5 assists.
Justin Davis and D.J. Harness paced Dexter with 18 pointsapiece. James Riley netted 10 points.
B. Chitto 77, Salem 42
The ‘Cats, coached by Christi Terrell, improved to 8-1 in thedivision and 18-4 on the season.
Bogue Chitto’s Kelli Howard netted 13 points and made 6 steals.Hall had 5 assists.
Junior varsity girls
Bogue Chitto hammered Salem 48-19 in the JV girls game.
Leading the ‘Cats with 10 points each were Adrian Wallace andTesheon Rogers.
