Services for Jack R. Crecink Sr. of Meadville are 2 p.m. Sunday,Oct. 6, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. OliveBaptist Church Cemetery in Amite County.

Visitation is Sunday, Oct. 6, from 1 p.m. until service time atthe funeral home.

Mr. Crecink, 76, died Oct. 3, 2002, at Tallahasee CommunityHospital in Tallahassee , Fla. He was born in Franklin County onMarch 15, 1926, to the late Webster J. and Mary McMillianCrecink.

He was a retired auto parts store owner. He was a member ofMeadville Baptist Church. He was a Mason, member of Ben FranklinLodge #11.

Preceding him in death were his parents and wife, NellCrecink.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Jack R. Jr. and FayeCrecink of Kissimmee, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Linda C. andElliot Palmer of Crawfordville, Fla.; brother, John C. Crecink ofStarkville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
