Robert ‘Bay Bay’ Bethley Jr.
Services for Robert “Bay Bay” Bethley Jr., of Bude, will be heldat 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, at Bude Church of God in Christ withburial in Zion Cemetery in Roxie. Marshall Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral homein Bude, and on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the timeof the service.
Mr. Bethley, 54, died May 31, 2008, at his residence. He wasborn in Franklin County on March 9, 1954, to Robert and ElizabethReed Bethley.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brothers, JerryRees and Willie Bethley.
Survivors are his daughters, Tonya Hudson, of Wilson, N.C., andLeslie Ray, of Gulfport; his sons, Mandell Griffin, of Duarte,Calif., Victor Bailey, of Brookhaven, and Robert Bethley III, ofMcComb; his sisters, Bobbie Robinson, Rose Pernell and CarlaBethley, all of Bude, and Theresa Daniels, of Duarte; his brothers,Bruce Bethley, of Bude, Kenny Bethley and Lee Andrew Bethley, bothof Meadville; a maternal aunt; two maternal uncles; 10grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives andfriends.
Patricia Ann Butcher
Services for Patricia Ann Butcher, of McCall Creek, will be heldat 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, at Lucien Baptist Church with burialin the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive isin charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 10 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Sunday at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of theservice.
Mrs. Butcher, 65, died June 3, 2008, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in New Orleans,La., on Nov. 6, 1942, to Phillip Bruno and Melodie AlbaradoBruno.
She was a bill coordinator with Compu-Prompt. She was a memberof Lucien Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Paul Sanders;her daughter, Susan Todorov; and her brother, Phillip Bruno.
Survivors are her husband, Jerry Butcher, of McCall Creek; herdaughters, Cyndi Childers, of Miami, Fla., and Jerri Emma Skinner,of McCall Creek; her sisters, Deanna Bergeron, of Marrero, La., andEleanor Bruno, of Crown Point, La.; her grandchildren, StoianTodorov, Jessica Childers and Heather Robson; and hergreat-grandchildren, America Childers, Daniel Robson and SusanRobson.
Simone J. ‘Grannie’ Greenlee
Services for Simone J. Greenlee, of Brookhaven, will be held at11 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withthe Rev. Bendon Ginn officiating.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. Greenlee, 86, died June 3, 2008, at Silver Cross Home. Shewas born in Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada, on Sept. 17, 1921, toPierre and Marie Morin Dube.
She was known throughout Brookhaven as “Grannie.” Her ministrywas unique. For more than two decades she played harmonica andbrought comfort to shut-ins in local nursing homes andhospitals.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husbands, GeorgeParisian, Bobby McLean and Johnny Greenlee; and her brother RogerDube Sr.
Survivors are her daughter, Janet Parisian, of Mesa, Ariz.; hersister-in-law, Anna Dube; a nephew, nieces and several cousins; andmany friends, including Roy and Ulla Jolley and the faith communityat Easthaven Baptist Church.
In celebration of Grannie’s life, the family requests that blacknot be worn at the service, and to consider wearing Grannie’sfavorite color, red.
Mildred Lucille Ham Sullivan
Services for Lucille Ham Sullivan, of Jayess, will be held at 10a.m. on Saturday, June 7, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel inMcComb with graveside services and burial at noon at SylvarenaBaptist Church Cemetery in Wesson. The Revs. Jimmy Smith and KeithBoyd will officiate.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral.
Mrs. Sullivan, 84, died June 3, 2008, at Pointe Coupee GeneralHospital in New Roads, La. She was born on Dec. 21, 1923, to JohnEmory “Dock” Ham and Edwina Guy Ham.
She was a member of Sylvarena Baptist Church in Wesson.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 32years, Oscar Clinton “O.C.” Sullivan; her son, John WesleyRichardson; her brothers, John Everett Ham and George Adron Ham;and her sisters, Blanche Gulledge and Gladys Maddox.
Survivors are her daughter, Pat Aucoin and husband Burl, ofLivonia, La.; her daughter-in-law, Doris Randall Richardson, ofHattiesburg; her grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Kelly Boshart, JohnRichardson II and Joshua Aucoin; her nine great-grandchildren; fivevery special nieces, Margaret Johnson, Georgia Guidroz, BarbaraBouden, Regina Kyzar and Vicki Doughtery; her nephews, PaulGulledge, Dr. Randall Thomas, Rodney Ham and Robert Kyzar; andnumerous other family members and friends.
Pallbearers are Dr. Randall Thomas, Rodney Ham, Robert Kyzar,Joshua Aucoin, Kelly Boshart and John Richardson II.
