Services for Charlie D. Jones, of Flint, Mich., and formerly ofMcCall Creek, are 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at Cool Springs M.B.Church in McCall Creek with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mr. Jones, 59, died March 5, 2009, in Flint. He was born inLincoln County on May 21, 1949, to Rivers Jones and Josie MaeThomas Jones.

He was a 1968 graduate of Lillie Mae Bryant High School. Heretired after 35 years at General Motors. He was a member of Mt.Nebo M.B. Church in Mt. Morris, Mich.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sisters,Jeanette Jones and Dorothy McPherson.

Survivors are his wife, Janice Jones, of Flint; his sons,Leonard Jones and wife, Katonya, Anthony Jones and wife, Theresa,and Alonzo Price, all of Flint; a daughter, Charnice Jones, ofYpsilanti, Mich.; his brothers, Woodrow Jones, of Brookhaven, andJimmy Dale Jones, of California; his sisters, Missouri Jones, ofDover, N.J., Josephine Jones, of Minneapolis, Minn., and DoraElaine Johnson and husband, Larry, of Bryant, Ark.; and a host ofaunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend, JessieJames Thomas, of Flint.

Services for Richard Lee Quarles, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Friday, March 13, at St. James M.B. Church in Brookhaven withburial in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mr. Quarles, 53, died March 9, 2009, at his residence. He wasborn in Lincoln County on March 31, 1955, to Robert Lee Quarles Sr.and Inez Washington Quarles.

He was disabled. He was a member of St. James M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Robert LeeQuarles Jr.; a daughter; his grandfather, Percy Washington; and hisaunts, Edith Redd and Monell Brown.

Survivors are his daughters, Linda Quarles, of Biloxi, YolandaQuarles and Katina Quarles, both of Brookhaven; a son, TravisWilbert, of Brookhaven; his brothers, James Earl Quarles, JerryQuarles, Jeffery Quarles and Billy Quarles, all of Brookhaven; agrandmother, Mary Coleman Washington, of Brookhaven; an uncle; hiseight aunts; his nine grandchildren; a devoted companion, DebraHenderson, of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.

Services for Eugene Rowe Jr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, March 14, at St. James M.B. Church with burial inHillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mr. Rowe, 61, died March 8, 2009, at Forrest General Hospital inHattiesburg. He was born in Mobile, Ala., on April 29, 1947, toEugene Rowe and Jessie Mae Williams.

He was disabled. He was an U.S. Navy veteran.

Preceding him in death were his father, Eugene Rowe Sr.; and hisgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rowe and Mr. and Mrs. BenjaminMoore.

Survivors are his mother, Jessica Mae Williams, of Brookhaven;his sons, Derrick Lewis Sr. and wife, Phyllis, of Jackson, ShuanHoward, of Chicago, Ill., Eugene Rowe, of Detroit, Mich., ArzareusGoodloe, of Brookhaven; his daughters, Anita Rowe and EuniceHoward, both of Chicago, and Jessica Rowe, of Detroit, Mich.; hisnine grandchildren; and his two great-grandchildren.
