Services for Floyd L. Nettles, of Brookhaven, were 2 p.m.Tuesday, March 1 at Bude Baptist Church with burial in MidwayCemetery. Community Funeral Services was in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Nettles, 75, died Feb. 27, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn in Catahoula Parish, La., on July 4, 1929, to Harvey A.Nettles and Mary Wactor Nettles.

He was retired from forestry. He was a member of the Baptistfaith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, MargaretNettles; his sisters, Doris Rayborn and Mildred Nations; onegrandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Survivors are his daughters, Francis Stewart, of Brookhaven,Donnis Cupit and Judie Brister, both of Monticello; his sister,Katie O’Neal, of Bude; his brothers, Charles H. Nettles and JamesRayford Nettles, both of Brookhaven; 10 grandchildren; and 12great-grandchildren.
