Services for Randolph Jones of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Monday,Dec. 30, at Tyler Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rose HillCemetery.

Visitation is today from 1-6 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones, 72, died Dec. 26, 2002, at Haven Hall Nursing Home.He was born in Lincoln County on March 20, 1930, to Ciscro Jonesand Nettie Jackson Jones.

He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of New HopeMissionary Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Velma Powell Jones; onedaughter, Pamela Jones; five brothers, R.B. Jones, Roger Jones,Leon Jones, L.P. Jones and Melvin Jones; and his sisters, GenevaHawkins and Otha Mae Hawkins.

Survivors are his sons, Jeffery Jones of Lansing, Mich., andCurtis Jones of Ogden, Utah; his daughters, Tammy Jones of Lansing,Joann Crenshaw of New Orleans, La., Mary J. Ruthford of Clinton,Mich., and Annette J. Anderson of Sacramento, Calif.; his brothers,Denon Jones of Ogden, and Matthew Jones of Brookhaven; and a hostof grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
