Ralf Waldemar Albritton

Services for Ralf Waldemar Albritton, of Forest Grove, Ore.,were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Fuiten, Rose &Hoyt Funeral Home, 2308 Pacific Avenue in Forest Grove.

Mr. Albritton, 45, died Dec. 7, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn on March 4, 1962, in Aschaffenburg, Germany, to Thomas W.Albritton and Ingeborg (Wiserd) Albritton. Thanks to his father’smilitary career, he spent his early years in Alabama, Germany,Alaska, and later on in various places in Idaho, Mississippi andOregon.

He worked in various enterprises to include oil exploration andthe hotel business, until illness put a stop to his aspirations.Talented and artistic, he was an avid outdoorsman and anaccomplished musician.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Maria Rivera, of ForestGrove; his daughters, Chelse Albritton, of Vancouver, Wash., andSarah Albritton, of Forest Grove; his stepdaughter, AngelaChouinard, of Forest Grove; his stepson, David Godinez, of ForestGrove; his parents, Thomas and Ingeborg Albritton, of Weiser,Idaho; his brothers, Christoff Albritton, of North Pole, Alaska;Eugene Albritton, Keith Albritton and Ben Albritton all of Ozark,Ala.; Thomas Albritton, of Jerome, Idaho; and Arno Albritton ofWeiser, Idaho; his two grandchildren; his aunts, Joan Case and FayeThornhill, both of Brookhaven; and a number of cousins and otherrelatives in Brookhaven, as well as nieces and nephews.

Johnette Allen

Services for Johnette Allen, 76, of Brookhaven, will be held at2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel.

Visitation is Thursday from noon until the time of the serviceat the funeral home.

She died Dec. 11, 2007, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.She was born on June 9, 1931, to John Lampkin and BeulahLampkin.

She was a beautician. She was a member of the Methodistfaith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her sons, RobertAllen and Randy Allen.

Survivors are her daughter, Nona Skates and husband Barry, ofBogue Chitto; and her grandchildren, Emily East, Leslie Skates,Allen Skates, Chris Allen and Leann Allen.

Don Huckaby

Services for Don Huckaby, of Brookhaven, will be held at 11 a.m.on Friday, Dec. 14, at Community Funeral Services with burial inMacedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Huckaby, 49, died Dec. 9, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born on March 12, 1958, to James C. Huckaby andAnnie Algood Huckaby.

He was employed with Jacobson, and Countryside Mobile Homes.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his brothers, Tim Huckaby and Pat Huckaby, both ofBrookhaven; and his sister, Kay Weaver, of Brookhaven.

Edna Estelle Lowery

Services for Edna Estelle Lowery, of Hazlehurst, were held at11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Sylvarena Baptist Church inWesson with burial in the church cemetery. Community FuneralServices is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lowery, 80, died Dec. 10, 2007, at her residence. She wasborn on June 19, 1927, to Amos Brown and Etta Brown.

She was employed with Mickey’s Cafe for 30 years. She was amember of Westside Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Paul A.W.Parrette; her husband of 31 years, James Lowery; and twobrothers.

Survivors are her sons, Danny Parrette and Bobby Parrette, bothof Hazlehurst; her daughter, Patricia Newman, of Hazlehurst; herbrothers, Warner Brown, Arlander Brown and Mickey Brown, all ofMississippi; her sisters, Ester Miller and Mary Ann Scarbro, bothof Texas, and Carol Bishop, of Mississippi; her 12 grandchildren,35 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
