Murphy leads Miss. Gran Prix

Eric Murphy of Georgia is leading the Mississippi Gran Prix inthe Senior 1-2-3 category after three races. The final race is acircuit/criterium race today, covering a mile and one-half courts.It starts at 7 a.m. on the Copiah-Lincoln Community College campus.Senior 1-2-3 riders will race for 80 minutes.
Murphy, from Georgia, is a member of AED-Toshiba -JetNeworkClub. He leads second place Matt Seagrave of Florida and Team CycleScience; and third place Frank Moak of Brookhaven and HerringGas.
Other overall leaders are Hamp Gaston in category 5-public, DonMcLauchlin in masters 35, Stacey Eckerson in category 4 and ShannonKoch in the women’s division.
Casey Magner won Saturdy morning’s 75-mile road race in theSenior 1-2-3 category.
