Funeral services for Stephen “Steve” Alvin Brewer, ofBrookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service Chapel, with burial in Philadelphia Baptist ChurchCemetery in Brookhaven. Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m.at the funeral home.

Mr. Brewer, 46, died Jan. 5, 2011, in Brookhaven. He was born inBrookhaven on June 10, 1964.

He was an operator with Greenbriar Digging Service. He was a memberof the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his father, Nolan Brewer; and hisniece, Amy McGuffee.

Survivors are his wife, Shirley Townsend Brewer; his mother,Beverly Sonnier; his stepdaughters, Brandi Bland and Stacy Case;his brother, Anson Brewer; his sisters, Debra Smith and BeckyBarron; his grandchildren, Molly Allen, Blair Diffierent, AshlynBland and Hunter Bland; and a host of numerous nieces andnephews.
