MADISON – The Jackson Prep Lady Patriots handed the previouslyunbeaten Brookhaven Academy Lady Cougars a tough 54-46 lossThursday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Madison-RidgelandInvitational Tournament. It was Brookhaven Academy’s first loss ofthe season.

Brookhaven Academy (9-1) were led by senior post-player LindsayAltman with 22 points. Scoring 10 points was Lindsey Phillips.

Powering 9-0 Jackson Prep with 14 points was Meghan Odom. TaraChez Britton netted 12 points.

Brookhaven Academy will host AAAA Jackson Academy Tuesday forfour games. The first game begins at 4 p.m.
