Services for Gladys Laird Russell of Monticello are Sunday,March 24, at 2 p.m. at Monticello Funeral Home with burial inEasthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Mrs. Russell, 92, died March 22, 2002. She was born in McCallCreek on June 7, 1910, to Elbert and Clara Lewis Laird.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Benjamin O.Russell; sister, Geneva Kinnison; and grandsons, William Glenn Coxand Michael Duane Russell.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-laws, O.B. and BrendaRussell and Duane and Carmen Russell, all of Monticello; daughterand son-in-law, Annell and Harper Cox; sister and brother-in-law,Elaine and Tom Collins, all of Shreveport, La.; sister-in-law,Lessie Mae Russell of Jackson; seven grandchildren; ninegreat-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.
